By running for Epilepsy Research UK, you
will be helping to fund ground-breaking
research in the UK that will help change
the future for people with epilepsy. Every
project we fund is rigorously assessed by
a panel of experts, to ensure it has the
potential to advance our understanding of
the condition and improvements in the treatment
of those with epilepsy.
There is no known cure for epilepsy
Over 30% of people with epilepsy have
seizures that do not respond to drug treatment
In over 60% of cases there is no known
cause
Every year 1,000 people die as a result
of epilepsy
You can help!
Every pound raised by you will increase
the amount of research we can fund.
We
are here to support you every step of the
way, and each runner will receive a fundraising
pack full of ideas, sponsor forms and a
personalised Epilepsy Research UK running
vest for the race day. We also have a whole
load of fundraising materials available
for all your fundraising needs, such as
drinks mats, banner tape, balloons, pens,
ribbon badges so let us know what you need!
