15 April 2012 - Marathon De Paris, France
The Marathon de Paris is undoubtedly one
of the biggest and most popular marathons
in Europe so why not join in and experience
the beautiful and historic city of Paris
in a truly memorable way. Starting on the
Champs Elysees, you will run past the Louvre
by the banks of the River Seine and past
Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower before finishing
at the stunning Arc de Triomphe.
30 September 2012 - Berlin Marathon,
Germany The route takes runners on a
fantastic tour of the city's greatest landmarks,
including the Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz,
and the Brandenburg Gate. It's a flat, fast
course, great for marathon newcomers, as
well as experienced runners looking to beat
their best times - it was the stage for
the current world record time.
7 October 2012 - Chicago Marathon, USA
The flat city landscape and cool autumn climate combine to provide the best backdrop for posting records - personal, national and world.

16 October 2012 - Beijing Marathon,
China
Beijing is still basking in the success of the 2008 Olympics and now they have an International Marathon to continue the legacy. The race starts in Tian'anmen Square and finishes at the 'Birds Nest' in the Olympic Centre and covers the West City District, Haidian District and Chaoyang District on very good road surfaces for the entire journey through this historic city.

29 October 2012 - Dublin Marathon, Ireland
Known as the friendly marathon, the support along the route is immense! A relatively flat course, it is a single lap starting and finishing close to the city centre.

4 November 2012 - New York Marathon,
USA
The ING New York City Marathon has an atmosphere like no other. Taking you through all five boroughs, you begin on Staten Island, passing a number of famous landmarks on your way to finish in Central Park. One of the world's biggest marathons, it is a deceptively hilly course!

project we fund is rigorously assessed by
a panel of experts, to ensure it has the
potential to advance our understanding of
the condition and improvements in the treatment
of those with epilepsy.
