A great way you can help us in our work is
by remembering Epilepsy Research UK in your will.
Legacies are crucial to our income and
help us to fund more research. You do not
have to be rich to leave a legacy. Everyone
who leaves a gift to the charity will
be making a real difference to our work.
Please let us know if you have included
Epilepsy Research UK in your will, as this helps
us plan for the future.
If you have already decided that you would
like to remember Epilepsy Research UK in your
will, please look at the following wording
to ensure that your wishes are carried out
correctly.
How to leave
a gift to Epilepsy Research UK in your will
If you want to leave a specific legacy:
"I give and bequeath to Epilepsy Research UK, charity number 1100394,
whose office is at PO Box 3004, London W4
4XT, the sum of __________ pounds for the
general purposes thereof, and I declare
that the receipt of the Treasurer for the
time being shall be a sufficient discharge
to my Executors".
If you want to leave a residue:
"Subject as aforesaid I give, devise
and bequeath the whole (or a _____________
share) of the residue of my estate whatsoever
and wheresoever both real and personal to
Epilepsy Research UK, charity
number 1100394, of PO Box 3004, London W4
4XT, absolutely for the general purposes
thereof, and I declare that the receipt
of the Treasurer for the time being shall
be a sufficient discharge to my Executors".

your will
If you are making a codicil, you should
take advice over the precise wording, but

codicil.

charity number 1100394) for its general
charitable purposes. I further direct that
the receipt of the Treasurer shall be sufficient
discharge of said gift."
In all other respects I confirm my said
will.
In witness whereof I have here unto
set my hand this [date in words].
Signed by the said [name], the Testator/Testatrix
as and for a [first, nth] Codicil to his/her
said will dated [date] in the presence of
us both being present at the time who at
