Meet a Researcher – Exeter & Birmingham

Posted Jul 10 2018 in News from Epilepsy Research UK

We are delighted to be hosting our next regional ‘Meet a Researcher’ events in September 2018.

Save the date and join us in:

Exeter, 12 September,  6.30-8.30pm
Taking place at the Living Systems Institute at the University of Exeter, we’ll have four 10 minute talks and hear from funded ERUK researchers, along with information from a support group. Refreshments at 6.30pm with talks beginning just before 7pm. There will be the opportunity to meet with our researchers and ERUK staff over refreshments at the end of the programme.

Birmingham, 26 September,  7.15 – 9pm
Taking place at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre, during this reception you’ll be welcomed by Professor Matthew Walker, Chair of Trustees and have a short update from several researchers on their research projects. As this is a reception there will be refreshments throughout and a lot of opportunity to meet our researchers in person to talk about their work.

Each evening will give you the chance to find out a bit more about us, and hear from a couple of our funded researchers who will talk about their research and how it’s been progressing. They are interesting and informative events and we are looking forward to the opportunity to meet more of our supporters in person.

If you would like to come along, please register with jo@eruk.org.uk who will confirm your place with you where space is limited, and send full information for the event in due course.

We look forward to meeting you and really do hope that you will be able to join us.
